I honestly have the best life. I have the best wife I could ever imagine, I have great family members, I have had an amazing career traveling the world performing, competing, and doing business, and shooting images. I also have had some great bosses in my life too. No matter where I have travels in the world I meet people and I have had some doozies of bosses too. From starting out as a Janitor with I was 13 and then starting to work at 16 for the Ontario Government, to working for television and movie productions in Canada, the USA, and the UK, and Russia. Out of all of those bosses and coaches that I have trained with and also have worked for there are only a few that have left big footprints in my heart for a life time. If those bosses or people read this they will know who I am talking about because the time we spent together was so positive and we made a difference in people lives.
If you have taken a moment and read my bio page on Serenity Photo I am a not just a photographer, but I am a performer and coach, and producer, and entrepreneur.
Well I try to be anyhow. Saying that I would like to take a moment to say that I am working with one of the most amazing women on the planet, her name is and she and her family are truly an inspiration. I have never in my life have had a chance to work with a lady in this fashion. I am amazed how she can take all the kids in the Skate8Points School and put so many smiles onto their faces just through our sport alone. The thing is that Monica also does is she puts her family first before everything. The love that she has for them is simply pure. You can see the love, trust, and devotion that she has for her loved ones. She has the team, always evolving to make the school better but better yet she find the people that take ownership and also accountability for their actions and she finds that her team has a caring trust and admiration for each other. It is not only about winning in our sport that counts most, it is about developing the people that can guide child can become successful in any faction of their lives.
When this past week went by I took some shots of the skaters out on the ice, and as much as they think I am a goofball and Shrek or the friendly giant I got to spend some time as a photog with them. Here are just a few of the images that I shot of them, just take a look at their SMILES! They are infectious! KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE! HELP THEM SMILE LIKE THESkating school does. No matter age, no matter size, no matter where you are from all are welcome to come join into the “SMILE REVOLUTION!”
Congrats to the Skater, The Parents, to Monica, to the Coaches, to the whole team of people that make this camp happen.
It is Amazing to be a part of!
