There are times in your life when things just mean the world to you. This one sunny day we had a chance to shoot together in the most pristine golden wheat field in Listowel, Ontario. Can I say fun times or what. Now the story of Nikki and I is this. WEDDING CRASHER! Ha!
Not really but it was a good one. A long time ago I had met this young lady as a little girl when my wife and skating partner and I were skating in a show and I met the original Jodeyne her Godmother. Yes, there was another wonderful lady named Jodeyne, whom my Jodeyne was named after. My Jodeyne was really lucky to get this name. When I met Nikki I was in a ice show in Cambridge and we were all super young, and since that time we have all stayed in touch together. Over the years we have seen more and more of one another and we have since Jodeyne and I got married been in touch more over time. From the wedding to the Battle of the Blades to judging the Paddy Festival, to now shooting weddings together as a tag team we have had so much fun. Nikki is a very outgoing young lady and super inspirational too. Her mom Brenda and daddy Bob sure did bring up an amazing young lady. I am really glad to call her my friend, and second family too.
Now let me tell you a little bit about this story of our shoot on this day. One day I got this email saying Sean I need your help and I don’t trust anyone else to do what I need done (so to speak). So I replied and said Nikki whats up? So I got the response I need you to take pictures of me and my transformation. Wow I said I am honored and hell ya I will do it for you. So after our planning and joking around we met in Listowel at this undisclosed location that had 1/4 mile race track on it (it was so cool) and there was golden fields of wheat growing and it was just before harvest time too. It was so pristine. So we all got to the location and we got to business. When we were shooting we were having so much fun, and I think that this is where as a photographer I hope that down the road my craft finds itself helping more and more people through time. I can honestly say that this is one my my greatest goals for Serenity Photo and I am so happy I and I should say we had on this day with Nikki. Making a difference and building people up is what we do and we are happy to have a party at the same time. Good times great motivation and wonderful memories all captured through imagery. Good times with great peeps! Big hug Nikki! Like Tony the Tiger says “You did G-rrrrrrr-eat!
